JeansForGenesDay01

St Peter’s Community raised 2.500€ during the Jeans For Genes Day,  to take awareness about genetic diseases

Once again this year, the Y10 students organized the Jeans for Genes Day as part of their Genetics Unit in Biology. The Jeans for Genes fundraiser was held on Friday 21st October for students from F4 to DP2. As usual, students were encouraged to wear jeans to raise awareness about genetic diseases and their impact on patient quality of life.

After another successful fundraiser, the St Peter’s Community raised 2.500€ for the ImpulsaT Association. The funds will support researchers at the Universitat de Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, who are using the latest scientific innovation to find a cure for Congenital Merosin-deficient Muscular Dystrophy, a rare genetic disease. Thank you very much to all of you for your collaboration!
