The Welcome Fair opened the year with parallel activities and teachers meetings

On September 2, the doors of St PETER’S reopened for the start of the 22-23 school year, accompanied by parents, students and teachers. We wanted to make it different this time around by combining athletic, festive and academic activities into a single day. The family’s and students’ participation was a success, further validating the success of this inaugural edition.

The morning began with a presentation of the Pedagogical Project by Ms. Teresa Ferrer, the school’s curriculum coordinator, and Mr. Jordi Ginjaume, If you missed it, you may view it here.

This was followed by various workshops and parallel activities, which presented some of the projects that we will see throughout the school year. Among them, the new Futures Literacy Lab; the Read Write Ink programme, used in Foundation and Primary for language acquisition; and other projects such as MUN, Lab06, the Debate Leagues in MYP, or the PYP Exhibition. All this was enlivened by all the sporting activities offered by our After School Hub.

This is a brief video of the day:

The first day of school was marked by the traditional Welcome Meetings, during which the teachers of each course introduced themselves to parents and kids and gave some information about their class. We’ve included all of the speeches, handbooks, and other learning materials given by the teachers in each course for you if you couldn’t make it:
