With an average score of 35.3 points in the IB Results and outstanding performance in both the IB and the Spanish University Entrance Examinations (PAU), the Class of 2026 once again reflects the academic excellence and international mindset that define a St PETER’S education.
Every graduating class is unique. Each group of students brings different talents, ambitions and aspirations. Yet one thing remains unchanged at St PETER’S: a learning journey built on academic rigour, personalised support and an international outlook.
The achievements of the Class of 2026 are another reflection of that commitment.
This year’s graduates achieved an average of 35.3 points out of 45 in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, maintaining the consistently high standards that have become a hallmark of St PETER’S SCHOOL. Their success extends beyond the IB, with excellent results in both the Spanish Bachillerato and the Spanish University Entrance Examinations (PAU), demonstrating their ability to excel across both international and national education systems.
Outstanding IB Results
The Class of 2026 achieved:
- 35.3 average points in the IB Diploma Programme (Global average: 30.88 points)
- 43 points, the highest individual IB score.
- 98% Diploma pass rate.
- 85% of students earned two or more additional CORE points through Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and the Extended Essay.
- 20% of students were awarded the IB Bilingual Diploma.
- 45 students completed the Diploma Programme.
The cohort also achieved excellent results in the Spanish education system:
- 10/10, highest Bachillerato grade.
- 8.9/10, average Bachillerato grade.
- 13.4/14, highest university entrance score (PAU).
- 12.7/14, average PAU score.
The highest IB Diploma scores were achieved by:
- Roni Schwartz – 43 points
- Laia Soler – 42 points
- Mya Martínez – 42 points
This year, more than 209,000 students from 3,442 IB World Schools around the globe received their Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP) results. The global average for the May 2026 examination session was 30.88 points, placing the Class of 2026 at St PETER’S SCHOOL well above the worldwide average. These figures reflect the growing reach of the IB and highlight the strong performance of St PETER’S students within an increasingly competitive international community.
More Than Results
The IB Diploma Programme is about much more than final examinations. Over the course of two years, students develop the research, critical thinking, communication and independent learning skills that prepare them not only for university, but for life beyond the classroom.
Through experiences such as the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS), students are encouraged to question, reflect, collaborate and grow as learners and as people.
As Xavier Salvadó, IBDP Coordinator at St PETER’S SCHOOL, explains:

These values are echoed by Olli-Pekka Heinonen, Director General of the International Baccalaureate, who congratulated the Class of 2026 and IB graduates worldwide:

We are immensely proud of what IB students have achieved, and I know they will soon begin to bring about positive change in their communities, both locally and globally.”
Preparing Students for the Next Step
Earlier this year, the Class of 2026 also celebrated significant university admissions success, including offers from the University of Oxford.
These achievements reinforce what we believe lies at the heart of a St PETER’S education: success is not measured solely by grades, but by how well students are prepared to embrace the opportunities and challenges that await them after school.
Excellent academic results and admissions to leading universities are both outcomes of an education that values intellectual curiosity, personal growth and individual support in equal measure.
