Last Wednesday we organized the first Table Tennis Tournament at St PETER’S. This competition aimed to showcase a small group of students who gather daily at the tables to play and share a break, and to turn an ordinary lunchtime into a “surprise” tournament for Y7 and Y8 students. The activity presented some challenges for them, as they had to invite a classmate to participate. The matches were played in Knock-Out mode, with 8 players divided into two groups of 4, and each match was played to 21 points. The final was very exciting, between Bhavya B and Carlos O, from Y8.
On the other hand, Emma (Y5) was in charge of playing music throughout the tournament. It was her first time doing it live, and she did great; all her friends came to see her, support her, and of course, dance for a while. It was undoubtedly the best way to end the competition. Thank you very much to all who participated and cheered in the tournament. We look forward to the next edition!
