Once again, after an academic year full of effort and dedication, our Year 10 students, under the direction of their film teacher, Mr. Merín, present their latest cinematic project: Eudaimonia. A work that, beyond the classroom, seeks to move the viewer through an intimate and deeply sensitive story.
To keep the mystery intact and avoid revealing key plot details (no spoilers!), we will stick to its starting premise: in a hospital room, two young people talk about what we all share yet no one fully understands.
The short film introduces us to the encounter between Alan, a young man hospitalized with cystic fibrosis, and a mysterious girl. What begins as a strange, seemingly impossible conversation soon turns into a profound and emotional reflection on time, the fragility of existence, and the incalculable value of every lived moment. Without a doubt, the true pillar of this project lies in the chemistry and performances of its two young lead actors, who, with maturity and emotion, manage to carry the weight of a script that invites us to rethink what it truly means to be alive.
