Last Friday, families, teachers, and friends gathered to honour a group of students who have not only excelled academically but also grown into thoughtful, resilient, and compassionate young adults. We came to celebrate the Graduation of the Class of 2025.
Memories of a journey
One of the most touching moments of the evening came when Ms. Turrer delivered a heartfelt message on behalf of all families. Reflecting on her family’s journey from Brazil, she spoke of what truly makes a school special:
“We were looking for a school with soul. A school with values. With people who care, who smile, who teach with respect and from the heart.”
She ended with a moving reminder to the graduates:
“Believe in yourselves, because we believe in you.”
Throughout the evening, our hosts Mr Martyn Cooper and Ms Faina Arnau guided the celebration with warmth and humour. Musical performances, award presentations, and a fantastic game show—St PETER’S Fortunes—added energy and fun to the evening.
Teachers took a moment to reflect on how far the students have come:

“Above all, this has been a team effort… You wanted to succeed, so we as teachers wanted to help you to do so.”
To close the night, Mr Salvadó, Head of the Diploma Programme, delivered a powerful challenge to the graduates:
“Break the rules.
Not the ones that protect others.
Not the ones that uphold dignity, fairness, or respect.
But the other ones.
The rules that box people in.
The rules that say ‘this is how it’s always been done.’Because the future doesn’t belong to those who follow instructions —
it belongs to those who rewrite them.”
A fitting message for a generation ready to make their mark on the world—with courage, conviction, and care.

Take the knowledge. Take the values. Take the friendships, the laughter, and the lessons.
Keep your minds sharp, your hearts kind, and your eyes set on the future.
And always remember—we believe in you.
