Class of 2023: Ready for Take-off!

On Friday, June 2nd, the Year 12 students embarked on a special flight that would launch them directly into their future. Accompanied by their families and teachers, we gathered to celebrate their graduation, officially welcoming them as St PETER’S Alumni, representing the Class of 2023.

Right from the start, there was a palpable sense of excitement in the air. A group of Year 11 students took on the role of stewardesses, efficiently managing the check-in process, while the eloquent Miss Delaney provided us with flight instructions.

Elegantly attired and full of emotion, the graduating students listened to the speeches delivered by Martina Viganò (Class of 2022), Álex González, and Ivan Andrusevich (Class of 2019), who shared valuable advice and emphasised the importance of maintaining connections, regardless of the destination.

After these encouraging speeches, it was time for Antonio Lombardo to take the stage and deliver an impressive performance of Coldplay’s song “Viva La Vida,” the perfect choice for a memorable evening.

Following his great performance, it was time for Rocío and Isabel, representing the parents, to take the stage, along with Mr. Salvadó, Ms. Faina, and Mrs. Laurance, representing the teachers.

“To all of you graduating, I would add three more things to your suitcase: self-reflection, luck, and happiness. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you the very best.”

Isabel Martínez García

“The best years of our lives were spent in this school, and we wouldn’t trade them for anything. Thank you, St PETER’S, for making this journey possible, from the bottom of our hearts.” –

Rocío López Pérez

Lastly, Antonio Sesé and Emma Monaco represented the entire student body, expressing gratitude to all the teachers and families for their unwavering support and hard work. With a touch of humor and deep appreciation, each teacher was acknowledged:

“A teacher is someone who helps you, teaches you, corrects you, and motivates you, and ours have been everything to us. There are no words to express our gratitude for everything you have done for us. Each one of you will hold a special place in our hearts forever.”

The flight was pleasant and turbulence-free.

With diplomas in hand, the Class of 2023 embarks on a new chapter, ready to embrace a world full of opportunities and infinite possibilities!

Congratulations, Class of 2023!
