2025 One Year of Learning, Growth, and Community

Reflecting on a Year That Made Us Who We Are

As the year comes to an end, we take a moment to pause, look back, and celebrate everything we have shared.

This has been a year full of memories.
A year shaped by curiosity, commitment, creativity, and collaboration.
A year built by students, teachers, staff, and families who, together, make St PETER’S SCHOOL a truly special community.

None of this would be possible without the people who make St PETER’S what it is.

Thank you to every teacher and staff member for their dedication, professionalism, and care.
Thank you to every student for their curiosity and perseverance.
Thank you to every family for their trust and partnership throughout the year.

You.
Us.
Together.

Inquiry-Based Learning in Action

Throughout the year, learning at St PETER’S has been driven by inquiry, curiosity, and real-world questions. Our students are encouraged not only to find answers, but to ask meaningful questions, explore multiple perspectives, and reflect on how they learn.

A clear example of this approach could be seen in Year 4, where students led an inquiry into the differences between artificial intelligence and human intelligence. Through discussion, research, experimentation, and reflection, they explored what machines can do, what makes human thinking unique, and how technology shapes the world we live in. This inquiry crossed subject boundaries, connecting science, ethics, critical thinking, and communication.

Experiences like these reflect what learning at St. Peter’s truly means: students actively engaged, developing independence, curiosity, and the confidence to think deeply not only about what they learn, but why it matters.

Academic Achievement and IB Diploma Programme Results 2025

This year has also been marked by results that reflect our shared commitment to high-quality education.

The IB Diploma Programme Class of 2025 achieved a 100% pass rate, with an average score of 35.3 points out of 45, well above the global average. Two students achieved 44 points, and another two achieved 43 points. More than 50% of all subject grades were awarded at the top levels (6 or 7), and the cohort outperformed global averages in the majority of subjects.

These results have been recognised by external observers, like Ib League Spain, as one of the best results in Spain and Barcelona.

These outcomes are the result of sustained effort, high expectations, and close collaboration between students and teachers. They also open doors to universities and future pathways around the world.

Beyond academic results, our community has been recognised for its innovation and reflective practice. This year, St PETER’S was announced as one of the winning schools of the iObserva project, promoted by the Edutech Cluster. This recognition highlights our commitment to observing, questioning, and improving learning and teaching practices, including the thoughtful and responsible integration of technology.

We are also especially proud of our student Enma Palma, selected as one of the winners of this year’s Indagare programme. Her work reflects the spirit of inquiry, creativity, and problem-solving we aim to nurture in all our students: young people who are not only learning about the world, but actively seeking ways to improve it.

Looking Ahead: Continuing Learning, Growth, and Innovation

As we step into a new year, we do so with gratitude for what has been, and confidence in what lies ahead. We look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and evolve together as individuals and as a community.

From all of us at St PETER’S SCHOOL, thank you for being part of this journey.
We wish you a very Happy New Year.

Let’s keep building what matters.
